Took some time off today to do some more exploring of wineries for some guests we will be entertaining in September. While we were looking around, we went into one winery where we found the sign in today’s picture. I thought it was cute, so I shot it.
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On July 31, 1845, the French Army introduced the saxophone to its military band. The musical instrument was the invention of Adolphe Sax of Belgium.
TRIVIA FOR TODAY: It was the style among 18th century Englishmen to wear pantaloons so tight they had to be hung on special pegs that held them open, allowing the wearer to jump down into them.
